During 2017 we developed a WordPress Multisite solution for Football NSW, the governing body for football in NSW.
A network of WordPress sites
Football NSW is the governing body for association football and futsal throughout New South Wales.
Since 2017 we have been supporting the association to build, launch and maintain WordPress powered websites. The associations main web properties and some of the regional associations are powered by The DMA team.
Multiple WordPress Sites
With a number of website properties to develop, a solution based on WordPress Multisite was a great choice to deliver this project.
The main websites both publish a considerable amount of content to an eager audience that comes visiting in large numbers. WordPress’ ability to create different content types is a strong feature of these builds. News content separated from other data types like tribunal decisions, a club directory and position openings to name a few.
Centralised Management
We were able to develop one WordPress theme that has been rolled out to three sites now for Football NSW. The main website, the NSW Premier League website and an eCommerce portal. Multisite allows users in the system to login once and then move between web properties with ease.
