Mark Scalan and Mark Dickey, both well known names in the Sydney food industry, established the Garfish brand in 2002 with the opening of Garfish Kirribilli.
Garfish Crows Nest followed soon after opening in 2004, with the larger flagship, Garfish Manly, opening in 2006. Garfish has won numerous awards, including being crowned Australia’s Best Seafood Restaurant multiple times. Today, the Garfish name is synonymous with excellent quality seafood, great service and a relaxed environment.
The DMA was initially engaged in 2008 to create and manage a social media presence for the growing brand, however this scope rapidly expanded to include all online and offline marketing. The result has been consistent, cohesive online and offline marketing, which has driven strong sales growth for Garfish.
