Jon Tinberg

Jon has over 10 years of experience building businesses, having successfully founded and sold two companies. Jon has been actively involved in the IT industry since teaching in the Diploma of IT at North Sydney TAFE in 1993. Jon’s expertise spans training, cultural change when implementing technology, business systems analysis, and digital marketing. With his breadth of experience across B2B and B2C companies, Jon can help you craft a digital marketing solution that bring measurable results.

Jon is a Google Certified AdWords Professional and brings a solid analytical background and business skills to The DMA.

Peter Shilling

Peter ShillingPeter has been actively involved in the IT and domain name industries since 1995. During this time he has been the founder or co-founder of a number of online businesses, including Two Purple Plums (founded 1995), a web development company specialised in building database driven content management systems and front end web sites, and TPP Internet (founded 2001), one of the leading domain name registrars by market share and web hosting companies in Australia.

Peter brings drive, big picture vision and excellent technical skills to The DMA.

Achievements

  • Director of auDA (.au Domain Administration) for 3 consecutive 2 year terms
  • Attendee at ICANN meetings in Italy, Argentina and New Zealand
  • Completed the business acquisition of Netnames Australiasia
  • As Managing Director at TPP Internet secured contracts to service many top 100 Australian companies, including Telstra, Australia Post, News Limited, Lend Lease and NineMSN
  • As Managing Director at TPP Internet won contracts to supply customised domain registrar platform software to Etisalat (.ae domain name registrar, Dubai) and education.au (.edu.au domain name registrar, Australia)
  • As Managing Director at TPP Internet was involved in the successful acquisition and integration of Hot Goanna, a leading PPC company and (at the time) one of only a handful of Australian companies to be fully qualified Google Adwords Resellers
  • As Managing Director at TPP Internet, achieved registrar accreditation with ICANN and within the  .au (Australian), .uk (United Kingdom), .nz (New Zealand), .eu (European Union) and .asia (Asian) domain name spaces
  • Completed a number of business mergers and acquisitions

Clair Gowenlock

Clair GowenlockClair has many years of experience in the Domain Name Industry in a wide variety of roles; firstly joining Domain Name Registrar TPP Internet as Operations Manager in 2003, then later moving into a new role to specialise in the management of corporate domain name portfolios, during which time she managed the portfolios of a number of top 100 Australian companies including Telstra, Australia Post, News Limited and Lend Lease.

Clair has coordinated projects to achieve registrar accreditation in many countries around the world, providing a sound working knowledge of both domain name policy and procedure in an international environment.

Clair brings passion and excellent client communication and project coordination skills to The DMA.

Achievements

  • As Corporate Business Manager at TPP Internet managed the domain name portfolios of many top 100 Australian companies, including Telstra, Australia Post, News Limited and Lend Lease
  • As Operations Manager at TPP Internet coordinated the successful migration and expansion of the TPP Internet network, including registrar, hosting and DNS platforms
  • As Operations Manager at TPP Internet assisted in the deliver of a Registrar Platform to Etisalat, a .ae domain registrar located in Dubai
  • As Operations Manager at TPP Internet successfully achieved registrar accreditation with ICANN and within the .eu (European Union) and .asia (Asian) domain name spaces

Mark O’Brien

Passionate about multimedia technologies and dedicated to designing and implementing creative solutions. Mark works across our client base devising all creative design and stylistic development. Graduating with a Diploma of Graphic Design, Mark specialises in digital design and has over 8 years experience in visual communication and graphic design.

In this time he has worked across a diverse range of brands including The GTA (Gaming Technologies Association), Deep Blue Marine, HI Fraser, InSites, Key Pharmaceuticals, Blistex, The ARC (Australian Rally Championship),  Christmas Island Tourism Association.

In the UK, Mark worked with Think Publishing which included working across large subscription based magazines such as ZSL (Zoological Society of London), Scouting Association UK, Royal Yachting Association UK, CPA Global, Stuff Your Rucksack Charity and Pagefield.

  • Mark has completed a Photoshop Masters course through Billy Blue School of Design
  • Fascinated by digital and multimedia applications, Mark holds specialist skills in WordPress theming and design
  • Interests lie in 3D Animation and likes to keep a breast of up-coming design and web development technologies

Carly Madigan

 As The DMA’s Marketing Assistant, Carly is responsible for promoting many exciting digital and e-communication solutions for clients. Carly brings combined online and social strategy skills to her position and is an active team member across web strategy and web development planning.

Carly brings unified knowledge for consumer behaviour, online marketing and social media and has been involved in planning and executing a range of online marketing and digital strategies for many different clientele.

  • Currently undertaking a Bachelor of Business degree and Majoring in Advertising, which she is studying for online
  • Has a successful career in the Client Services industry with strong abilities as an effective communicator, enabling her to maintain key relationships with a range of clientele

Ruby

Ruby has been with the DMA for just over a year now. She brings many skills to our business including
